Amy Marchant has a PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology, with an emphasis on Organizational Development. She began her career with big tech firms, coaching C-Level executives, designing performance appraisal and selection systems, coaching all levels of managers, running 360-degree feedback systems from top to bottom, developing succession planning approaches, leading team-building, conducting training at all levels, and guiding the organization through culture change. In 2010, Amy began applying these same skills and techniques to understand what jurors are thinking, how to connect with them, and how to influence them.

Amy has honed her ability to talk to people, ask probing questions, understand their needs and motivations, and influence as needed. She is good at the relationships – she makes people comfortable and allows them to share their deepest thoughts, helping them to dig internally and reveal what it is the guides their interpretation of events laid before them. Amy applies these skills and techniques of Organizational Psychology to understanding what jurors think – she is comfortable asking the next question in her focus groups, telling you what is the next question to ask during Voir Dire, and what you must make sure to address during trial.
