One-on-One Coaching

Attorneys must make connections with jurors, but we have very few opportunities to speak directly with them. Take advantage of one-on-one honest coaching to identify your strengths and weaknesses, discuss techniques for improvement, and practice. Use this opportunity to get comfortable, be open to feedback, and hone new skills. Identify and embrace your personal style, and cultivate it to your advantage. Consider opportunities to demonstrate and garner empathy, be a good listener, and draw jurors onto your team. Videotaping and feedback is critical, particularly with the use of practice “jurors.”
